Hi, I’m Bella!
I’m a Licensed Acupuncturist and Doctor of Chinese Medicine, and I believe meaningful care starts with getting to know the person in front of me. Everyone comes in with a different story, different goals, and a different idea of what feeling well means in their own life.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I want to understand what matters to you, what you’d like to get back to doing, and how your health is affecting your everyday life. My goal is to help you find relief, feel more at home in your body, and get back to doing the things you love and making memories with the people you care about.
My Background
I’m licensed through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and nationally board certified diplomate in acupuncture through the NCBAHM. I began my acupuncture education at Bastyr University in Washington before returning home to Minnesota, where I earned my Master’s in Acupuncture in 2021 and later my Doctorate in Chinese Medicine in 2022.
My clinical training took me through several different healthcare settings. At Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, I worked with new mothers in the maternal care unit as well as orthopedic patients, including post-surgical pain management. I also trained at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, working with patients with neurological and spinal cord injuries and those recovering from stroke. I also completed a clinical internship at Masonic Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis.
Since then, my interests have continued to grow, particularly in women’s health, fertility, and herbal medicine, while still enjoying the variety that comes with treating people with many different health concerns.
Outside the Treatment Room
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me outside somewhere. Dancing of all kinds is one of my greatest passions. I love downhill skiing in the winter and spending summers at my family’s cabin playing cards, being on the lake, and water skiing. I’m also big into music, cooking, and enjoy yoga.
